רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר אוֹמֵר, שְׁלָשְׁתָּן שָׁוִין. הָאֶחָד שֶׁבַּקֹּדֶשׁ וְשֶׁבַּתְּרוּמָה וְשֶׁבְּחֻלִּין, מְטַמֵּא שְׁנַיִם וּפוֹסֵל אֶחָד בַּקֹּדֶשׁ, מְטַמֵּא אֶחָד וּפוֹסֵל אֶחָד בַּתְּרוּמָה, וּפוֹסֵל אֶת הַחֻלִּין. הַשֵּׁנִי שֶׁבְּכֻלָּן, מְטַמֵּא אֶחָד וּפוֹסֵל אֶחָד בַּקֹּדֶשׁ, וּמְטַמֵּא מַשְׁקֵה חֻלִּין, וּפוֹסֵל לְאֳכָלֵי תְרוּמָה. הַשְּׁלִישִׁי שֶׁבְּכֻלָּן, מְטַמֵּא מַשְׁקֵה קֹדֶשׁ וּפוֹסֵל לְאֳכָלֵי קֹדֶשׁ:

ר׳ אליעזר אומר שלשתן שוין. כדמפרש ואזיל, דלית ליה לר׳ אליעזר טהרתה של תרומה טומאה היא אצל הקודש:
השלישי שבכולן. לא משכחת שלישי בחולין אא״כ נעשו על טהרת תרומה. ואין הלכה כר׳ אליעזר:

השלישי שבכולן. כ' הר"ב לא משכחת שלישי בחולין אא"כ נעשו על טהרת תרומה. מסיים הר"ש או על טהרת קדש. ונראה לכאורה שהר"ב השמיט בכוונה כדי לפרש מתני' דהכא דסברה נמי שאין חולין נתפסים בקדושת הקדש. אבל קשיא אדידיה דבמתניתין דלקמן מפרש דהך דהכא סברה דחולין הנעשין על טהרת הקדש כקדש דמו:

Rabbi Eliezer says: the three of them are equivalent.The first degree of uncleanness in holy food, in terumah or in common food: conveys uncleanness at two removes and causes invalidity at one additional remove in the case of holy food; conveys uncleanness at one remove and causes invalidity at one additional remove in the case of terumah; and causes invalidity in common food. The second [degree of uncleanness] in the case of all of them: conveys uncleanness at one remove and causes invalidity at one additional remove in the case of holy food; it conveys uncleanness to common liquids and causes invalidity of terumah food. The third degree of uncleanness in the case of all them: conveys uncleanness to holy liquids and causes invalidity to holy food.
