Tractate Makkot

The Masechet Makot is the fifth tractate of the Seder Nezikin.
The Gemara Makot is the study of the laws relating to Jewish courts and the punishments they may administer, and may be considered a continuation of the tractate Sanhedrin, of which it originally formed part.
