לֶחֶם הַפָּנִים, מוֹעֲלִין בּוֹ מִשֶּׁהֻקְדַּשׁ. קָרַם בַּתַּנּוּר, הֻכְשַׁר לְהִפָּסֵל בִּטְבוּל יוֹם וּבִמְחֻסַּר כִּפּוּרִים, וּלְהִסָּדֵר עַל גַּבֵּי הַשֻּׁלְחָן. קָרְבוּ הַבְּזִיכִין, חַיָּבִין עָלָיו מִשּׁוּם פִּגּוּל, נוֹתָר וְטָמֵא, וְאֵין בָּהֶן מְעִילָה:

לחם הפנים. הכא נמי לא גרסינן ביה ליפסל בלינה, שהרי נאפה בערב שבת ואינו נאכל עד לשבת האחרת:
קרבו בזיכים. היינו מכשיריו, שבשבת בשעת סילוק הלחם היו מקריבין הבזיכין של לבונה:
ואין בו מעילה. שהותר לכהנים ונעשית מצותו:

קרבו הבזיכין חייבים עליו משום פגול. שאם חשב בשעת הקטרת הבזיכין הריני מקטיר ע"מ לאכול חוץ לזמנו הוקבע הלחם בפיגול דכי היכי דזריקת דם בבהמה כו'. ועיין במשנה ח' פרק י"א דמנחות:

The law of sacrilege applies to the showbread from the moment of its dedication. Once it has formed a crust in the oven it becomes susceptible to be disqualified through contact with a tevul yom or one who still requires atonement, and it may be arranged upon the table [of the Sanctuary]. Once the dishes of incense have been offered it is subject to [the laws of] piggul, notar and defilement, and the law of sacrilege no longer applies to it.
