תְּבוּאָה נוֹטָה עַל גַּבֵּי תְבוּאָה, וְיָרָק עַל גַּבֵּי יָרָק, תְּבוּאָה עַל גַּבֵּי יָרָק, יָרָק עַל גַּבֵּי תְבוּאָה, הַכֹּל מֻתָּר, חוּץ מִדְּלַעַת יְוָנִית. רַבִּי מֵאִיר אוֹמֵר, אַף הַקִּשּׁוּת וּפוֹל הַמִּצְרִי, וְרוֹאֶה אֲנִי אֶת דִּבְרֵיהֶן מִדְּבָרָי:

תבואה נוטה על גבי תבואה. כגון שנזרעו כהלכתן אלא שהשבולים מתוך גדלן נכפפים ושוכבים זה על זה, וכן כולן:
חוץ מדלעת יונית. שעלין שלה ארוכים ומתפשטין ביותר וכשהן נוטין ע״ג תבואה או ירק הן מסתבכין ומתקשרין יותר מכל שאר מינין ומיחזו כלאים:
ופול המצרי. פשול״י בלע״ז:
ורואה אני את דבריהן מדברי. שאין בהן מסבכין ומסתבכין כדלעת יונית. וכן הלכה שהכל מותר חוץ מדלעת יונית:
Tractate Kilayim - Chapter 2 - Mishnah 11 - Mishnah translated into english
Stalks of grain which are leaning over other stalks of grain, or vegetable [plants] on other [] vegetable plants, or stalks of grain over vegetables plants or vegetable plants over stalks of grain, all this is permitted, except in the case of the Greek gourd. Rabbi Meir says: also in the case of the cucumber or Egyptian beans. But I recognize their words [as more acceptable] than mine.
