היתה אחת מהן וכו'. בגמרא הא תו למה לי היינו הך. מה לי לחד מה לי לתרי. צריכא דאי אשמועינן התם משום דאיכא שני דמוכח. אבל הכא דליכא שני דקמוכח. שהרי שתיהן מתייבמות. ואתי למשרי אחות זקוקה בעלמא. ואימא לא לייבמן קמ"ל. ואי אשמועינן הכא אדרבה תרווייהו מוכחי אהדדי. שזה לא יוכל לישא את אחרת. וכן זה. מוכח מילתא שזו אסורה ע"ז וזו ע"ז. לפיכך ליכא אחות זקוקתו אבל אידך לא. צריכא:
וזו היא שאמרו אחותה כו'. גמרא זו היא למעוטי מאי למעוטי איסור מצוה לזה. ואיסור מצוה לזה. וצריכא דמהו דתימא כי לא אמר אוקי איסור מצוה במקום איסור ערוה להתייבם אחותה היכא דאין איסור מצוה אלא באחת. ולשני שתיהן זקוקות דאיכא למגזר משום שני. אבל היכא דליכא למיגזר משום שני. אימא להאי אוקימנא איסור מצוה במקום איסור ערוה. וכן להאי. ולייבמו קמ"ל. ואתי נמי שפיר דלא תני וזו היא שאמרו במתני' דלעיל. דא"כ לא אתי למעוטי מידי. כיון דאיסור מצוה וכו' בהדיא קתני לה התם.

If one of the sisters was forbidden to one brother under the prohibition of incest and the other sister was forbidden to the other under the prohibition of incest, she who is forbidden to the one is permitted to the other and she who is forbidden to the other is permitted to the first. This is what they said: when her sister is her sister-in-law she may either perform halizah or be taken in yibbum.
